About Galexy:
Galexy is an international association of independent law firms with each member able to provide high quality international legal services to clients.
There are currently 23 firms who are members of Galexy based in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, England (UK), France, Germany, Greece, India, Israel, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and USA.
Each of the Galexy members can provide you with a comprehensive legal service whenever and wherever you may be. If you are on holiday or working abroad and you find yourself in need of immediate legal assistance just call the firm from your home country. The Galexy member will advise you on the best course of action and who will be the best firm to deal with your particular problem. They will also help to organise a local lawyer who speaks the language of the country you are currently in.
Each member firm is individually responsible for agreeing terms with clients. Individual members are also responsible for any advice given and for the affairs it handles on behalf of clients.
Galexy member firms meet regularly to discuss international legal issues, further their understanding of other countries’ legal systems and to develop cooperation between member firms.
Aims of Galexy:
- To foster professional and personal friendship between lawyers of different countries in particular by meeting at least once a year at the annual conference.
- To gain a knowledge of how those lawyers and their legal systems operate.
- To broaden the service members can offer to their clients by having direct access to those lawyers.
- To cross refer work.
- To have opportunities for both members and their partners for travel and the fostering of international friendship.
- To encourage international contact between young lawyers.
